The patent abstract shows that the present application discloses a multifunctional smart street lamp based on an expansion groove, comprising a lamp post, a lamp head, an installation unit, and multiple expansion units. The installation unit includes an installation part and two end fixing units respectively fixed at the top and bottom of the installation part. The outer surface of the installation part has multiple vertical sliding grooves. The expansion unit includes an installation slide, an installation frame, and a fixing frame. The fixing frame presses the installation frame against the installation unit, and the installation frame has multiple circular installation through holes and multiple strip-shaped installation through holes.
